Weight Loss and Vinegar
Fight Fat with Vinegar
When we think of vinegar what do we typically think of, salad dressings, marinades, chutney and relish, weight loss aid?
That’s right, Swedish researchers have discovered that vinegar added to a white bread based meal suppresses the rise in glucose levels following the meal, while at the same time increasing the feeling of fullness.
By reducing the glycaemic index (GI) of a meal and controlling the feelings of hunger, vinegar could prove to be a much overlooked aid in helping those on a weight loss diet.
If that wasn’t enough, consider Japan where vinegar is celebrated for its ability to fight fatigue, increase circulation and is used as a drink to promote good health.
